Barrenjoey High School P&C Association

A P&C community initiative run entirely by volunteers. In 2025, 31 artists and 34 local retailers turned Avalon Village into an open-air gallery, with more than $26k in art sales — up from $10k+ in its first year.

Funding for equipment, facilities, and programs that directly benefit students — from creative arts resources to wellbeing initiatives.

The P&C has bought portable air-conditioners for the Hall, in place for this year's HSC exams. Department approval is in for classroom air-conditioning, and Trivia Night 2026 is raising the funds for it.

The P&C worked with the school and the Department of Education to secure new lighting on the rear driveway and around the Hall and car park.

Three new shade shelters with built-in concrete seating give Year 7 students a shady place to sit at recess and lunch. Organised and paid for by the P&C, thanks to our school parents and community. Designed by Richard from our P&C team. Thank you, Richard!

P&C support helps students represent Barrenjoey on CAPA tours, at the Australian Interschools Surfing Championships and at the Titans All Schools touch tournament. Our Snowsports students stood on the podium at national level, proudly wearing jackets funded by the P&C's Warren Miller movie night.

Thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket or donated. Your support helped our Touch Football teams get to the Gold Coast Titans All Schools tournament in October.

Our new sandstone garden beds are planted. Volunteers spent an afternoon working bee moving soil, planting hardy native Lomandra grasses supplied by the P&C, and spreading mulch. Thank you to everyone who came along to help!

❄️ What a fantastic night! A full house to boot! We’re thrilled to share that the Sno-ciety Fundraiser raised an incredible $3,500 to support the Barrenjoey Interschools Snowsports Team.

Thanks to a wonderful community effort — our raffle, the team's own bake sales and car-boot sales, and the generosity of local supporters — 20 Barrenjoey students made it to the Australian Interschools Surfing Championships on the Gold Coast. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, baked, donated and cheered them on!
